Also, sharing my discoveries from navigating and leading 15 years in the corporate world, building my business and empowering senior and executive leaders to go to their next level with their organizations and in their lives. I hope that you are excited and ready. So let us begin. If you struggle with commitment,
in your team or in your organization, then listen to this. There will be many reasons why it's happening that you might be looking at already, such as checking in and you have the right people in the right place, checking in if you have an aligned vision, goals, strategy, and way of execution together with those members, and checking in if you provide enough support and resources
for those employees in your team to execute on those goals and actions that they committed to do. But there is one more absolutely overlooked area that is very often at the root cause of your team or your members not being committed and quote unquote not executing on time, maybe procrastinating.
maybe not keeping their own world, not being reliable or not showing up really truly being engaged in giving themselves full in. That overlooked area is within yourself. This is about your reality inside your set of beliefs that you hold on to about yourself, about them and about the situation that is being projected.
Dagmara Asbreuk (02:27.328)
In other words, the reality that you are experiencing on the outside is a reflection of your reality inside of you. This is a paradigm of level four state for consciousness. When you start to understand that the situation that you experience is nothing else than projection of your inner world, which means projection of all those beliefs, all those assumptions that
obviously playing in your subconscious and very often even not noticed by you. So now let us bring it to its example of struggle with commitment from your team, commitment to execution on the new direction, commitment to growth, commitment to any other objectives. I want you to pose when you struggle with this and ask yourself these questions.
What are my beliefs and possible narratives about the situation now? What are my possible beliefs and narratives about my employees, the people I lead?
And what must be my beliefs and my narratives that I hold on about myself? In those questions through these reflections, through slowing down, you're going to find out the golden key. You're going to find out all of the narratives and limiting beliefs that you are currently projecting on your on the people
As a result, experiencing. So you kind of manifesting this reality in an outside world from the inside world. So what are the possible narratives that might be playing here? Possibly. First of all, you might be judging the situation that that's not good and that this is not acceptable. This is not how you imagined. So the situation is bad. That's the first narrative you buying into.
Dagmara Asbreuk (04:37.942)
that block opportunity to see something else in this situation, such as a gift of discovering what is really happening beneath the surface that you can see. The second, you might be buying into narratives such as they are not committed, they are not ready, they are not understanding, they are not engaged, they are not fully in, they don't care. There can be many narratives around
Your employees that you might be actually making in this moment that are making you feel that they are not committed. And the third, the narratives and limiting beliefs that you might hold about yourself in this situation might be that I am not a good leader. I'm not good enough in fostering here the engagement and commitment in my organization, which makes you feel insecure.
in most likely control mechanisms or protecting and showing the face or not being vulnerable enough to talk about the situation with your team and challenge this in an effective
When you find those autopilot narratives about the situation, about other people, about yourself that are being triggered in the situation, where maybe people don't come back with a response at a very time, don't fully execute on actions, maybe are late, that are triggering that set of autopilot reactions,
and thoughts, narratives, emotions in the situation and of course, driving your behaviors in that situation. Even if you believe you have it under control, the beliefs, how you feel inside, the thoughts, the narratives, you transmitting that in the energy of your communication to the others. And this is how you are projecting that reality. You create and you're manifesting the reality just by the power

your narratives of your biases of the limiting beliefs that you're buying
Dagmara Asbreuk (06:59.917)
So in order to shift, in order to create a different reality in this situation, in order to have far more engaged, committed and thriving team that really goes above and beyond, you need to transform those limiting beliefs and limiting narratives that you are going into. For that, you first need to start with imagining the best -case scenario, what you truly, truly want.
Maybe what you want is people executing on actions, being great, getting yourself fully in whatever it is that in your own words, described high commitment, high engagement in your team or in your organization. And when you have that vision, when you have that image of what you're looking for, which you would like to experience more of in your, with your team, with your organization, only then go back to narratives, go back to beliefs and ask yourself.
What do I need to believe so that I create that reality about myself, about the others and about the situation? This is just one of the exercise how you can start to shift your narratives and of course your behaviors, your emotions included in your energy, your energy that you are going to transmit. Because guess what? If you want really truly to have a highly engaged and committed
then you need to have strong beliefs around it too. The belief that might help you here is to believe in your people, that they are committed, they are ready, they are there, they want to give themselves fully. And only by shifting that narrative, you're going to look at them from that perspective. Equally by shifting narratives about yourself and seeing yourself as the inspirant facilitator of catalysts of that commitment. When you see yourself
and review and transform all the negative biases and narratives and limiting beliefs that you hold about yourself to empower you to foster that engagement and commitment. You're going to start to get ideas on how you can do it. You're going to look at the situation from completely different angle. First of all, as an opportunity and gift for a deeper connection, for finding something that you haven't found about your employees yet.
Dagmara Asbreuk (09:29.281)
for maybe courageous and important conversation that needs to happen that will help you to identify where the problem really is rather than your own assumptions that people are not committed or not ready or always dissent at. And I want to finish with one important thing. Those beliefs that you hold about the people, about yourself, about the situation.
are actually in your subconscious programming since a very long time. You see, we are running on 95 % in our actions, in our way of response, in our thoughts on autopilot. Yes, 95 % of the time during a day, we actually not in our conscious mind, not taking actions for a conscious response or not responding from a conscious thought and conscious process, even if you love to say
95 % of our reactions or responses is driven by autopilot. And subconscious is like a big processor with data and programming, where all the memories of events from the childhood are stored. And the programs run.
And so are our triggers.
So reason why you might even have this narratives that people are not committed or people are not ready or people are not giving themselves fully in or they don't care or they are too lazy, whatever is this that you put consciously or not the unconsciously about them, which is first of all, disconnecting you from
Dagmara Asbreuk (11:15.775)
is all coming from early ages of development because there has been somewhere in your life early on, most likely until the under the age of seven or in a yearly youth, a situation where it triggered that thought process, that possible judgment about others that I'm talking here about.
And you are just reproducing, reproducing and reproducing. This triggers in many different situations.
You know when you are facing challenges of commitment in your organization you might want to look into where do i start with that in my
or with friends or in other non -business related context and situation, or maybe with other people in a business than my team. I guarantee you, will find similar situations happening to you or have already happened to you where you struggle with actually trust, with trusting the people. And this trust that you're struggling with that is fostering
issues in commitment to your team is also starting with yourself. You insecure at some level, and it can be a belief of, I'm not good enough. It can be belief I'm not worthy. I don't deserve whatever it is. There are many core limiting beliefs running our power to pilot subconscious programming from very early on that make us feel not trusting ourselves and projecting tech to others. Only
Dagmara Asbreuk (12:56.705)
We are starting to catch our own narratives and beliefs only when we're going to that level of awareness that we can observe and see those beliefs and rewrite them, rewrite those narratives, transform those limitations into empowering beliefs that are going to foster where we want and help us to realize where we want. Only then we are going to lead with more ease.
Only then we are going to unleash the potential within ourselves and within our organization. Only then we are going to build thriving teams, thriving our cultures and highly performing organizations making really an impact. This is just one of the example of how our subconscious is impacting the way we lead and what
project in our organizations. And this is the level we as leaders need to work on. That's the most important work. That's where transformation happens. And only then with a transformed perspective and paradigm, a new way of looking at yourself, at the people, at the situation, you are going to first of all shift your energy. So you are going to transmit a much more openness in
towards your people that they are going to sense. And only then those discussions and finding other elements that might be blocking here the commitment, these discussions will be in an open safe space and effective for you. The words have only 7 % of the impact of what we say. The vast majority is the transmission of our world inside, of our beliefs, of our assumptions, of our thoughts that contribute.
to our emotions and to the energy that we are transmitting in that every moment. So to wrapping up this, I want you to leave you with this. Whenever you struggle with something in your team and organization, either it's commitment, engagement, or whatever else it
Dagmara Asbreuk (15:11.789)
pose and start to ask yourself the question, what are possible narratives and beliefs about this situation, about that people, about myself that are here playing behind the scenes and fostering and fueling that outcome. And only then when you start to catch them, you have a choice to rewrite them and shift and pivot.
from that situation to a completely different paradigm, to a completely different reality, a reality that you truly want. So, thank you very much for listening here. Let me know what this episode, what this sharing here evoked in you, what it brought to you, what is the takeaway?
