 About the guest â€“ Dr. Andreas Beust (GCP-Service International Ltd & Co. KG / AICROS Ltd.)

After completing his PhD in molecular microbiology, Andreas started his career in clinical research by joining GCP-Service International Ltd. & Co. KG (GCP-Service) in 2017. GCP-Service is a so-called Contract Research Organization (CRO) that provides services around the conduct of clinical trials with innovative medicinal products and medical devices. Andreas joined GCP-Service primarily as a biostatistician and took on the leadership role for the biostatistics team in 2019. In 2021 he took over the medical writing team as well and transitioned into the role as CEO of GCP-Service in 2022. Andreas now leads a team of around 100 people based in 7 locations in Europe. In addition to being the CEO of GCP-Service, Andreas also served as President of the Association of International CROs (AICROS) since 2022, in which small and mid-sized Contract Research Organizations cooperate together to provide service for clinical trials around the globe. He also occasionally teaches students of the Master of Biometry and Biostatistics course at the University of Bremen, following his passion for sharing knowledge about clinical trials and helping the next generation enter the clinical research field.
